Dorchester County 4-H Youth Development

4-H is the nation's largest youth club with over 5.6 million youth. In Maryland, there are over 44,000 4-H members who participate through local 4-H clubs, 4-H school enrichment programs and special interest groups led by over 3,200 volunteers. The number of 4-H volunteers is growing in both urban and rural areas.

4-H is for youth ages 8 to 18 who want to find out more about their world. There is also a new and exciting 4-H Clover Program for kids 5 to 7 years of age. As a 4-H club member, you will help plan interesting meetings, elect club officers, share a special interest through a 4-H demonstration, make new friends, and learn more about yourself and what you can do. Efforts are made to allow youth with handicaps to have 4-H experiences too.
